Eleanor Jones
Dip. Pysch. Couns.

She/her

I am a qualified Gestalt psychotherapeutic Counsellor practising in Central and South London and online.

If you are struggling with self-confidence, low mood, or feel lost or stuck, counselling can offer you a supportive space to develop your understanding of yourself, and help you become reacquainted with parts of yourself that may feel inaccessible.

I have a particular interest in supporting clients to develop self-esteem and awareness, including those who identify as neurodivergent or part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Together we can explore how you arrived here, and illuminate what might help you now.

About me

My Approach

I offer a supportive space for clients to explore and understand their relational patterns.

Navigating life’s challenges can feel isolating. I offer a relational, collaborative space where you can explore difficulties at your own pace. Effective therapy can help you learn to ground in the present, enabling you to engage with past experiences and approach future challenges with a sense of confidence and clarity. Together, we can explore how these things influence your day-to-day experience.

My approach is collaborative, experiential and integrative. I draw on humanistic and existential therapeutic modalities among others, adapting my approach to each client and the evolving needs of the work.

I hold a Clinical Diploma in Gestalt Psychotherapeutic Counselling from the Metanoia Institute and practise in accordance with the UKCP Code of Ethics.

I support adults experiencing chronic depression, anxiety, panic attacks, PTSD, early trauma, sexual trauma, bereavement, workplace stress, bullying, burnout, low confidence and self-esteem, and challenges with emotional regulation, as well as those experiencing major life transitions.

I am committed to being LGBTQI+ and GSRD affirmative, offering a supportive space to explore the challenges that can arise from living in a heteronormative world.

I am neuro-affirmative, with experience working with ADHD, autism, or dyspraxia, supporting resilience, self-understanding and explore coping strategies to make life easier to navigate.

I see clients one-to-one in Central and South London. I currently practice at The Practice Rooms in London Bridge, Angel, Islington and Soho. I also see clients online.

Working together

First meeting

I offer a free 20-minute consultation. This gives you a chance to tell me what brings you to therapy. From there, you can decide whether we feel like the right fit for the therapeutic work.

Therapy length

I offer short-term therapy (a minimum of 6 sessions) and open-ended therapy, depending on your needs and preferences.

Fees

My fee is £75 per session. I offer a small number of concession slots for those who are on zero-hours contracts.
